Using Daymi for Board Level Control

Even at a Board level, there is a need to worry about control. Good control is a function of people, processes and tools. Even the greatest team, with the clearest processes needs good tools to help get the work done.

In his latest article for Nordic Post 360, Olaf Ransome shares his experience in joining the Board of Directors at a Swiss Financial Insitution and the need for good tooling in order to make sure the company fullfils their obligations.

Clearly, the board needs to ensure it has a system that tracks these 90 commitments, ensures we understand the frequency required, have a cross-reference to the actual policy, so we know that this control relates to Policy X, section Y, can upload evidence of what was done and have this all available to share with auditors & regulators.

During the years since launch, Daymi has evolved significantly. In the beginning, the focus was on helping Ops teams gain daily control. Over the years, it has evolved into a broader platform – from finance to compliance teams, from AML to Risk reporting – bringing real-time oversight to every business critical control.

In this article you can get Olafs insights into using a tool like Daymi to easily allow a board to get proper oversight and be able track that the required controls have been done, documented and signed.
